About us

A Diverse Global Team United for Culturally Sensitive Healthcare Solutions

A diverse global team of scientists, researchers, and healthcare professionals founded CultureCare Technologies, driven by a shared passion to address global health challenges with culturally sensitive solutions, focusing on underserved communities, especially in Africa.

Our motivation for the work we do is found in the immense challenges experienced by many humans who, in a modern world , should really not be subjected to these issues.

Access to Mental Health Services
Fight Stigma and Discrimination
Inadequate Sanitation Infrastructure
Resource Constraints and Funding Shortages
Sanitation in Africa Mental Health Stigma Inadequate Treatment
According to UNICEF and WHO, over 700 million people in Africa lack access to basic sanitation facilities.

This leads to increased risks of waterborne diseases and environmental contamination. Moreover, it's estimated that over 50% of girls and women lack access to sanitary towels, leading to significant challenges in managing menstruation hygienically and impacting school attendance and productivity.

The World Health Organization reports that in many African countries, mental health conditions are stigmatized,

Only a small percentage of those affected seek or receive appropriate care. Stigma often leads to social isolation and discrimination against individuals with mental health disorders.

Studies have shown that cultural beliefs and practices significantly influence perceptions of mental illness and help-seeking behaviors in African communities.

It is estimated that only about 10% of individuals with mental health disorders in Africa receive adequate treatment, highlighting the importance of culturally sensitive approaches to mental healthcare.
